Netwealth is looking for Junior QA Automation Engineers to join our team and help us continue the innovation on our website and mobile app.
Reporting to our Lead QA Automation Engineer, you'll be involved in all aspects of our automation testing lifecycle including requirements gathering, planning, design, coding and execution.
We've spent the past 3 years meticulously building an incredible development team - developers, product designers and testers - and we included automation testing in our CI/CD pipelines from a very early stage. As the number of development teams grows, we need more automation test capacity to maintain the quality of code that we deploy. You're the gatekeepers who keep our developers safe!
You'll learn, and share, fresh ideas and techniques with other developers. You'll learn how modern automation testing is done in a cloud-first environment. You'll also have the opportunity to skill-up on other areas of our technical stack including C# and cloud architecture patterns.
Netwealth is a London based wealth management company that provides a tailored and cost-effective wealth management service using the latest technology based on the latest cloud architecture from Microsoft's Azure platform. Founded in early 2016 by Charlotte Ransom and Thomas Salter, former Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan executives, Netwealth combines a highly experienced investment team with powerful financial technology and has raised a record £16.5M via two angel rounds from high profile City executives and entrepreneurs. These include Betfair co-founder Ed Wray, the Lloyds of London chairman Bruce Carnegie-Brown and Jupiter’s vice-chairman Edward Bonham Carter.
Netwealth provides a discretionary wealth management service targeting a mass-affluent audience (with a minimum of £50k to invest), where clients choose their portfolios online based on their financial goals, supported by a set of powerful financial tools. The portfolios are then managed by a highly seasoned investment team and clients can at any time access qualified financial advisers to get help with their financial affairs.
Our talented team brings together diverse backgrounds across wealth & investment management, economics, technology, regulation and marketing. We value motivated people who excel in their field and want to work within a collaborative and cutting-edge environment.
Our development team primarily works remotely and we trust you to manage your own work schedule. In return, we expect you to be available to your team, when required, and to deliver high quality, working software on time. We believe this enables you to operate at your most productive and creative.
The whole team comes to our London offices in Fitzrovia for 1 day every fortnight - but you may be asked to come in at short notice. For this reason, successful candidates need to be able to get to the office and home without unreasonable cost or duration. For instance, if your journey takes 3 hours each way, you are unlikely to be "firing on all cylinders" the following day. Note: because our head office will be your permanent place of work we are not able to reimburse travel expenses between it and your home.
Our hiring process is short, but thorough. If we like what we see we'll ask you to progress through a series of tests and interviews. If successful, we'll offer you a position.
Please email us your CV and a link to your portfolio (you can send in any examples of your work directly) along with any other relevant information:
