Can I transfer my JISA to Netwealth?
You can transfer a Junior Cash ISA, a Junior Stocks and Shares ISA or a Child Trust Fund (CTF) to Netwealth. In all cases, the transferred amounts will be managed in a Netwealth Junior Stocks and Shares ISA.
You are able to transfer your ISA or CTF to Netwealth by downloading, printing and filling out our Junior Stocks & Shares ISA transfer form or Child Trust Fund transfer form. Once you have filled out and signed the form, it needs to be sent by post to Netwealth Investments Limited, 60 Charlotte Street, London W1T 2NU. If you have any questions or need help filling out the form, please do not hesitate to contact us via the message centre in your account or by calling our Client Service team on 020 37954 747.
If you request a transfer to Netwealth, we will instruct your current JISA or CTF provider to sell the investments that are held with them and to transfer the proceeds as cash for us to invest. The transferred funds will retain JISA status and the associated tax benefits of investing.
We will not charge you to transfer into Netwealth. However, the existing provider may levy a transfer fee and you should check this with them before requesting the transfer.
If you are transferring a Junior Cash ISA to the Netwealth Junior Stocks & Shares ISA, the transfer is likely to take approximately 10 working days. If you are transferring a Junior Stocks & Shares ISA it is likely to take between 2 and 4 weeks. The transfer time depends on your current provider as they first have to sell the investments you hold with them before transferring as cash.
